Lesson 13 – The Knight’s Tale (video)

There are some useful words and expressions to learn below.
gap – a space between two things
cuddle – to squeeze someone with affection
tight – very close fitting and uncomfortable
hindrance – an obstacle, problem, in the way
encased – to be fully covered by
squires – trainee knights
knighted – to be made a knight
jousting – combat on horseback with long spears called lances
noble birth – to be born into a high social position
pun – a joke
awful! – very, very bad
