Back in England I rented a car for the first time in three years. I may have to sell my house to pay the gas bill! Ouch! running a car is expensive. I’m grateful I don’t need one in Japan.

This song reflects my feelings exactly. It has text and can be downloaded from the external site.

New Words

scheme – a plan or idea

pocketbook – wallet or purse, place to keep money

worth it – good value

eating me up inside – worrying me

coz – because

bucks – slang term for ‘dollars’

carpool – share a car to go to work
