Well, it’s the Spring Break and I will be taking a well deserved holiday for the next two weeks. As mentioned before, there are plenty of lessons to browse through if you look in the archives. This is an extra lesson for intermediate students. A machinima movie for listening practise. The subject is a song called ‘Bad Day’. Considering all of the problems I’ve had lately, especially with my computer, I thought it a suitable song. You can click on the lyrics link to read the words while listening to the song, or just listen and try and write down the words without looking.

Oh you know… – this has the same meaning as ‘Well….’
clear weeds – cut down useless plants, grass or flowers
a night out with the lads – a drinking party with friends
an evening in – stay at home
a bit dead – boring, nothing exciting happening
