- Welcome to the ESL PodTV site. My name is Paul and I am a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language living in Japan. I have been here about 20 years working in a variety of educational establishments. Currently I am working as a language instructor in high schools and private ‘juku’. My main interest is in teaching using multi-media, language labs and CALL facilities which is the main reason I have decided to set up this website.
- The aim of this site is to provide a fun way of learning English as a Second Language using short video clips and mp3 sound files which are available to download from this site as podcasts. The lessons are aimed at students with an intermediate to advanced level of English and are also supplemented by online interactive exercises that can be accessed from the main site at kibishipaul.com
- I hope to produce at least one video and a complementing mp3 podcast every week. These will include videos open to the public domain as well as animations, shorts and slideshows I will be producing myself. In addition I plan to add PDF files of lesson plans based on the podcast materials that teachers can use in the classroom.
- The materials on this site can be downloaded and used for non-profit educational purposes. Please see the Creative Commons license for more details.
