My name is Paul and I’ve ESL in Japan for the past 20 years. I enjoy living and working here for many reasons. , I like the food which is very different to England where I come from and the interesting culture with it’s mix of the old and new. I also like the way the seasons are so different here, though , the summers are too hot for me! I prefer the cooler English summers.

I have a family here. This is a picture of my wife Mayumi and son Ewan when we visited England last year. Mayumi at Apple computer as a bilingual secretary. Ewan is 3 years old now and is trains.

And me? Well, I’m just crazy. Probably because I’ve been living here so long.
