Speech and song

This Christmas I’m gonna be home and I wanted to ask, Where is home for you? What things do you think of when I say the word “home”.

I’ve done my time,
in this crazy world.
What trails have I left behind?
No matter what I’ve done,
I know I can always come home.

So take me home.
From the beach to the bay.
Take me home.
To good old Cambridge Way.
Take me home.
Cause there’s nowhere else I’d rather be,
than to come back to the place that made me.
I’m coming home.

When I’ve seen this world,
and all it has to offer.
I know I’ll stand amazed.
No matter what I see.
I know there’s just no place like home.

#So take me home…(chorus)

No matter what road I seek.
It never feels quite the same,
but yet it’s all the same.
So here I am another night.
I can’t ignore you, sixty four you,
Bring me more than words can say.
You bring me home

#So take me home…(chorus)

Read

Do you think of a small town…or the big city?
This type of train…or this type?
Home means familiar snacks.
Home means a foot massage.
Maybe your backyard?
This is mine!
Whether you live at the beach…a big city…or a small town.
Home is in the heart.
Home to me is…laughing…dancing.
Home is in a song…in a prayer…marriage for 60 years.
Home is hugging a best friend.
Home is building a family.
As we are envisioned.
This is my home.
